What is the working principle of HCQ vacuum degasser?

HCQ vacuum degasser is a device that uses the suction of a vacuum pump to remove the gas in the drilling fluid. It uses components such as vacuum tanks and rotors to separate air bubbles from mud through specific working principles, thereby improving the performance and efficiency of drilling fluids.

The working principle is as follows: firstly, the main motor starts first, and the impeller connected with the motor rotates at high speed to generate a negative pressure zone. Then, under the action of atmospheric pressure, the mud enters the hollow shaft of the rotor through the suction pipe. Then, the mud is sprayed from the windows around the hollow shaft to the tank wall, and the drilling fluid is separated into thin layers due to the collision and the separation wheel, the bubbles immersed in the mud are broken, and the gas escapes. At the same time, the suction of the vacuum pump and the separation of the gas-water separator discharge the gas from the exhaust pipe of the separator and send it to a safe place. Finally, the clean mud is discharged out of the tank by the impeller.

The advantage of the HCQ vacuum degasser is that it can efficiently remove the gas in the drilling fluid, reduce the adverse effects of air bubbles on the performance of the drilling fluid, thereby improving the efficiency and safety of drilling. In addition, due to the reasonable design, the mud can only enter the tank from the suction pipe, and will not be sucked from the discharge pipe, which ensures the stability and reliability of the work.
