1. There is friction between the impeller and the end face of the pump casing or between the impeller and the guard plate or the auxiliary impeller.
2. The pump runs at a much lower head than the design point.
3. The packing gland is pressed too tightly.
So what should we do when the shaft power is too large?
Let me briefly talk about the operation method below
1. Adjust the gap between the impeller and the end face of the pump casing and the gap between the impeller and the mechanical seal pump cover to eliminate friction.
2. Check whether the equipped working machine meets the requirements, and close the discharge valve to make the pump work at the design point.
3. Loosen the gland.
